Welcome TESL Ontario!

Thank you for inviting me to host a webinar. I am pleased to be able to introduce you to some ways you can use Adobe and design software in your teaching and professional life.

I’m very excited to share some tutorials and demonstration files with you. I worked hard especially to complete a tutorial video which walks you through the way to create an interactive PDF by using Adobe InDesign.

In this blog post I want to share a link to a folder of files I’ve created for TESL webinar participants. The files are stored in Google Drive. There’s a whole bunch of good stuff including Photoshop files and video tutorials (including the interactive InDesign / PDF demo). Before you view any other files I recommend you open the “Read Me” document – it explains what each file is and how you might use it.

Here’s the folder:

I sincerely hope that many of you will take some time to download trials of Adobe products and check out my example files and tutorials. Adobe software is available for a free 30-day trial. Why not set aside a few evenings or weekend mornings and see what you can do with a trial of Photoshop, Acrobat, or InDesign? Within a few hours you can be working magic with your photos, logos, and your various school admin or language training related documents.

Beyond my tutorials I suggest you look at video tutorials at these sites:

Adobe TV

I wish you the best in your experiments with the Adobe software! I’m keen to offer advice and feedback as you explore this exciting creative/productivity software.

I’m also available for hire – let me know if you’d like to chat about a project or position.

All the best,

Mike Simpson
